One of the questions we get asked more than almost anything is:
“Where should we eat while we’re in Crosby?”
I absolutely LOVE this question.
Whether you’re visiting for a romantic getaway, mountain biking, or a relaxing weekend by the lake, you’re going to eat really, really well.

Best Burgers in Crosby, MN
Iron Range Eatery
If you’ve stayed with us, you’ve probably heard me recommend Iron Range Eatery more than once.
I love everything about this place.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the landscaping outside is beautiful, the staff always makes you feel like family, and those French fries? They’re worth ordering every single time.
It’s one of those restaurants that just feels good the moment you walk through the door.
Trailside Tavern
If you ask me what to order here, it’s easy.
I'd either order a burger or the battered fish.
The fish is my favorite thing on the menu. Jake orders a burger!
Everything we’ve eaten here has been delicious, the staff is friendly, and it’s the perfect stop after a day exploring the Cuyuna trails.
Where to Eat Breakfast in Crosby
Breakfast is serious business around here.
North Country Café
The cinnamon rolls are legendary.
Seriously… if you see one, order it. They often run out on a busy weekend morning.
The coffee keeps coming, the service is wonderful, and it has that classic hometown café feel that makes you want to linger just a little longer.

Mixed Company
Can we talk about those croissant breakfast sandwiches?
Oh my goodness.
I probably shouldn’t admit this, but during one especially busy construction season, I ordered these to go multiple times in the same week. They were just that good.
Flaky, buttery, perfectly made… they’re one of those breakfasts you’ll be thinking about long after you head home.

Mac Daddy’s Donuts
Every trip to Crosby should include one tradition.
Get the glazed cronut.
Once you’ve had one, you’ll understand why it becomes part of every visit.

Red Raven
Their breakfast sandwiches are fantastic, but don’t leave without ordering a Sandhog Coffee.
Then take a little time to browse the shop while you’re there.
It’s one of my favorite places to grab breakfast and pick up something fun to bring home.

High Wheel Coffee
If you’re a coffee person, don’t skip High Wheel.
Their creative coffee drinks are always delicious and the perfect way to start a morning before heading out on the trails or the lake.
Best Pizza in Crosby, MN
Rafferty’s Pizza
This one deserves its own section.
Ask about the pickle pizza with the white sauce.
Trust me.
Then order a couple cups of ranch for dipping.
You’re welcome.
If pickle pizza isn’t your thing, you really can’t go wrong. The barbecue chicken pizza is another favorite, and honestly, every pizza we’ve tried has been fantastic.
The staff here is wonderful too!

Craving Thai Food?
Drunken Noodle
I love the variety on their menu.
Everything we’ve tried has been excellent, but there is one thing you absolutely have to order.
The Thai tea.
It tastes like ice cream in a glass.

My Favorite Lunch in Crosby
If I’m grabbing lunch, there’s a good chance you’ll find me back at Red Raven.
The Turkey Bacon Guacamole Sandwich is one of my all-time favorites.
Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I want after a morning outside.
Looking for a Special Date Night?
If you’re celebrating an anniversary, birthday, or simply want a memorable dinner during your stay, here are three places that are well worth the short drive.
Bar Harbor Supper Club in Lakeshore
Red Pine Cookhouse in Emily
Norway Ridge Supper Club in Pequot Lakes
Each offers a different experience, but they’re all perfect for slowing down, enjoying great food, and making the evening feel a little extra special.

The Best Part About Staying in Crosby
One of my favorite things about a getaway here is that you can spend the day biking world-class trails, paddling crystal-clear lakes, relaxing in one of our cabins and then finish the day with an incredible meal… all without spending half your vacation driving.
So when you arrive, come hungry!
Tell them Meghan from Cuyuna Cabin Collection sent you.
We love the incredible local business owners who make this community so special, and we’re always excited to share our favorite spots with our guests. Every meal, cup of coffee, and sweet treat is another chance to experience the heart of Crosby.
Who knows? You might just discover your new favorite restaurant. I know I still do.
Happy eating, and we’ll see you in Crosby!
