Cuyuna Cabin Collection was recently featured on FOX 9 Good Day live from the new Floating Fire Sauna in Crosby, Minnesota. The lifestyle-focused morning show highlighted the story behind Cuyuna Cabin Collection, along with two of its newest and most unique experiences: Floating Fire Sauna and The Mirror Cabin.
Broadcasting lakeside from the floating sauna itself, the segment showcased the growing focus on wellness tourism, outdoor experiences, and design-forward lodging in the Cuyuna Lakes region.
What began as a single cabin rental has evolved into a collection of unique stays and outdoor experiences designed around relaxation, adventure, and connection with nature. Today, Cuyuna Cabin Collection offers several properties throughout Crosby featuring amenities such as private saunas, hot tubs, outdoor showers, lake access, and direct connections to the Cuyuna mountain bike trail system.
FLOATING FIRE SAUNA
One of the central features highlighted during the FOX 9 segment was Floating Fire Sauna, a new floating sauna experience opening this summer in Crosby. Positioned directly on the water, the floating sauna was designed to create a peaceful and immersive outdoor wellness experience. Guests will be able to transition between sauna sessions and cold lake plunges while surrounded by the natural beauty of Cuyuna Country. The project reflects a growing demand for wellness-focused travel experiences that combine nature, relaxation, and outdoor recreation.
MINNESOTA’S FIRST MIRROR CABIN
The FOX 9 feature also highlighted The Mirror Cabin, Minnesota’s first mirror cabin experience that opened summer of 2025. Surrounded by forest and water near Crosby, the cabin’s mirrored exterior reflects the surrounding landscape, allowing the structure to visually blend into nature. Inside, the cabin was intentionally designed to create a quiet and restorative atmosphere centered around slowing down and reconnecting with the outdoors. The Mirror Cabin has quickly gained attention as one of the region’s most unique lodging experiences.

The FOX 9 feature comes as Crosby and the greater Cuyuna region continue to gain attention as a destination for outdoor recreation, mountain biking, wellness travel, and unique accommodations.
